Description

Eve gives a big dining area a strong, graphic centrepiece. The black finish lets the open ash grain show through, so the surface has texture rather than a flat look, and the rounded ends soften the length of the table. A matching Eve bench, sold separately, can run along one side.

FAQ

What is the Eve dining table made of?

Ash veneer with a black finish, on both the top and the legs. The open grain of the ash shows through the black.

What shape is the top?

A long racetrack oval: straight along both sides, with fully rounded ends.

What are the legs like?

Two half-round pedestal legs, each curved on one face and flat on the other, set under the length of the top rather than at the corners.

Is there a matching bench?

Yes. The Eve bench has the same rounded-end top and half-round legs in the same black finish, and is sold separately.

Does the Eve 240cm Oval Dining Table Black need assembly?

Some home assembly is required.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.

What is it best suited to?

It suits large dining rooms that host often, open-plan spaces needing a strong centrepiece and interiors with black accents. It is less suited to compact dining nooks or rooms without space around a long table.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered part-assembled in 2 cartons (longest 245 cm): 245 × 125 × 11.5 cm (65 kg); 73 × 73 × 75.5 cm (34 kg). The widest carton's face is 125 cm but it is slim (11.5 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
