Description

In a natural oak-look finish, Ruvos sets a thick top over a long, low cabinet with a half-round end. At its outer end the top is carried on a slab support whose inner edge is cut in a matching arch. Closed, it measures 213 cm. Move the top and its support outward together and it reaches 280 cm, leaving the cabinet's own top showing as a lower step at the far end. Storage sits behind a curved door and two handle-free drawers, with steel hinges on the door and cable holes in the back panel. The body is MDF and plywood. The pale natural oak-look tone keeps a long unit from feeling heavy against a light wall.

FAQ

How does the Ruvos extend?

The top and the slab support at its outer end move out together along the cabinet, taking the overall length from 213 cm to 280 cm. At full length the cabinet's own top is left showing as a lower step at the far end, and the open space beneath the top, between the support and the cabinet, grows wider.

What storage does the Ruvos have?

A curved door at the rounded end of the cabinet opens onto a compartment, and two drawers sit beside it. The fronts are handle-free, and the door hangs on steel hinges mounted inside the cabinet, so no hardware shows when it is closed. It keeps remotes, gaming equipment, media accessories and books out of sight.

Can I hide the cables?

Largely, yes. There are cable holes in the back panel, including one at the back of the door compartment, so leads from a box or console kept inside can run out to the TV and the wall socket with the door closed.

Is the Ruvos solid timber?

No. It is made from MDF and plywood with a natural oak-look woodgrain finish. Natural Oak names the colour and grain of the finish, not the timber it is built from.

Does the Ruvos 213-280cm Extendable ETU Entertainment TV Unit Natural Oak need assembly?

No — it arrives fully assembled.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.

What is it best suited to?

It suits contemporary lounge rooms, dedicated media rooms and long feature walls. It is less suited to walls shorter than 213 cm, buyers wanting solid timber or anyone needing open display shelves.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered fully assembled in a single carton measuring 224 × 55 × 56 cm (87 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
