FAQ

How tall is the seat?

The seat sits 45 cm from the floor, standard chair-height. It sits well at the foot of a bed or in an entryway for pulling on shoes.

Will the bench fit at the foot of a Queen or King bed?

Yes. An Australian Queen mattress is 152 cm wide and a King is 183 cm wide, so the 140 cm bench sits comfortably within both footprints, centred against the footboard.

How much weight can it hold?

It is rated to 120 kg.

What is the frame made of?

An FSC-certified pine and plywood frame, with high-density foam and fibre cushioning. The legs are black plastic.

Does the Tasker 140cm Linen Bench Ottoman Natural need assembly?

No, it arrives fully assembled.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered fully assembled in a single carton measuring 143 × 55 × 48 cm (23.1 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway, please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.

What spaces is the Tasker 140cm Linen Bench Ottoman Natural best suited to?

It is well suited to bedrooms wanting an end-of-bed bench for a queen or king bed and entryways needing a long perch for pulling on shoes.
