FAQ

Which side is the chaise on?

On this one the chaise is on the right as you face the lounge. The left-hand version is a separate product — the orientation is fixed when you buy, not reversible later, so it is worth checking which way your room runs first.

What is the seat filled with?

Foam over pocket springs. The pocket springs carry the weight and keep the seat from flattening in the places you sit most, while the foam layer above them gives the surface its softness. The foam is a D28 density.

Are the scatter cushions included?

Yes — three matching scatter cushions come with the lounge, in the same pistachio weave as the upholstery.

What is it upholstered in?

A textured woven 100% polyester in a soft pistachio green. The weave is a flat basketweave rather than a looped boucle, and the covers are fixed rather than removable.

Does the Alberto 2 Seater Sofa Lounge RHF Chaise Green need assembly?

Only minimal assembly — the legs attach to the base.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Vacuum the fabric gently with an upholstery attachment and spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid soaking.

What is it best suited to?

It suits contemporary and Scandinavian interiors, open-plan living rooms and households wanting a full-length lounging seat. It is less suited to compact rooms or narrow living spaces, anyone needing a sofa bed or rooms whose layout may change.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered assembled (legs to attach) in 2 cartons (longest 186 cm): 179 × 113 × 75 cm (55.5 kg); 186 × 109 × 75 cm (52.2 kg). One or more cartons are bulky (widest face 113 cm) — please check doorways, stairwells and lifts carefully, or contact us before ordering. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
