FAQ

What are the dimensions?

The Alix measures 115 cm wide, 222 cm deep and 100 cm high. It is built to King Single proportions.

What is it made from?

A particle board frame fully upholstered in 100% polyester velvet, with tapered rubberwood legs in a natural finish.

How much weight does it hold?

The bed holds up to 150 kg including the mattress.

What is in the box?

It ships in 2 boxes. Box one holds the headboard. Box two holds the footboard, side rail and slats.

How do I care for the velvet?

Vacuum the velvet regularly and blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth. Wipe the rubberwood legs with a soft dry cloth.

Does the Alix King Single Bed Frame Velvet Fabric Blue need assembly?

Yes, it is flat-packed for home assembly.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in 2 cartons (longest 209 cm): 119 × 102 × 11.5 cm (20 kg); 209 × 22.5 × 17 cm (21 kg). The widest carton's face is 102 cm but it is slim (11.5 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway, please confirm your access first. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.

What spaces is the Alix King Single Bed Frame Velvet Fabric Blue best suited to?

It is well suited to scandinavian or mid-century bedrooms, king single rooms for teens or guests and smaller bedrooms and apartments.
