Description

Arden has a light, Scandinavian look that sits easily in a lounge or bedroom as well as a study. The natural finish keeps it airy, the open shelf in the middle takes a notebook or router, and its slim depth lets it fit against a wall where a bigger desk would crowd the room.

FAQ

What storage does the Arden desk have?

Two drawers with ribbed fronts, one at each side, and an open shelf in the centre between them.

What is the Arden desk made of?

MDF, rubberwood and ash veneer with a painted natural finish. The drawers run on metal runners.

How deep is the Arden desk?

50 cm, a slim depth that suits a laptop or a single monitor and fits against a wall in a smaller room.

Do the drawers have handles?

No. The ribbed drawer fronts are handle-free, which keeps the front clean.

Does the Arden 140cm Home Office Desk Natural need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits bedroom corners used as a study, light paperwork on a laptop and interiors in a Scandinavian style. It is less suited to multi-monitor setups or anyone needing deep filing drawers.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 150 × 60 × 37 cm (42 kg). The carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
