Description

In white, Dorit keeps a big storage desk bright and calm, which suits lighter rooms. The painted finish lets a soft ash grain show, and the round plinths under each pedestal stop the desk looking boxy. Stationery, cables and paperwork each get a drawer.

FAQ

What is the white Dorit desk made of?

MDF with an ash veneer under a white painted finish, so a faint grain shows through. The drawers glide on metal runners.

How is the storage laid out?

Two pedestals with three drawers each, plus a centre drawer under the top: seven drawers in all.

Do the drawers have handles?

No. The bowed drawer fronts are handle-free, which keeps the white front clean and uncluttered.

What shape are the drawer fronts?

Each front bows gently outward, so the pedestals have a soft, rounded face rather than a flat one.

Does the Dorit 172cm 7 Drawer Home Office Desk White need assembly?

Some home assembly is required.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits bright studies with pale walls, home offices needing plenty of drawers and people who want a drawer for everything. It is less suited to rooms short on width or anyone wanting open shelving at the desk.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered part-assembled in 3 cartons (longest 182.5 cm): 182.5 × 70 × 25 cm (20 kg); 60 × 70 × 75 cm (28 kg); 60 × 70 × 75 cm (28 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
