Settle into the Ripley armchair in black premium faux leather, its channel stitching running up the back, over the low rounded arms and down to the base. The seat dips into one centre scoop, 64 cm wide and 61.5 cm deep. At 115 cm wide and 71 cm high it makes a broad single seat for a lounge room corner, or a companion to the Ripley 3-seater, and sits close to the floor on small dark feet.

Is the Ripley armchair upholstered in real leather?

No. It is covered in premium faux leather, a polyurethane (PU) upholstery with a fine pebbled grain, here in black. It gives the look of leather but it is not genuine leather.

How wide is the seat?

The seat is 64 cm wide, 61.5 cm deep and 43 cm high. Overall the armchair measures 115 cm wide, 101 cm deep and 71 cm high, with the low rounded arms taking up the rest of the width.

What shape is the seat?

It dips into a single scoop at the centre rather than sitting flat. Its channels run side to side and follow the scoop up over the tops of the arms, while the front below the seat is stitched in vertical channels.

Is there a matching sofa?

Yes. The Ripley 3-seater shares the same channel-stitched faux leather, wave-profile seat and 71 cm height, at 231 cm wide with a 179 cm seat. It is sold separately.

Does the Ripley Single Seater Armchair Sofa Black need assembly?
