Stretch out on the Ripley in black premium faux leather, channel-stitched from the top of the back down to the base. Its 179 cm seat rises and dips in a gentle wave with three shallow hollows, framed by low rounded arms and a straight-topped back. At 231 cm wide and 71 cm high it keeps a low line across an open-plan lounge room, resting close to the floor on small dark feet.

Is the Ripley upholstered in real leather?

No. It is covered in premium faux leather, a polyurethane (PU) upholstery with a fine pebbled grain, here in black. It gives the look of leather but it is not genuine leather.

What shape is the seat?

The 179 cm seat runs in a gentle wave, dipping into three shallow hollows along its length rather than sitting flat. Its channels run side to side and follow the wave up over the tops of the arms, while the front below the seat is stitched in vertical channels.

How deep and how high is the seat?

The seat is 61.5 cm deep and 43 cm high. Overall the sofa is 231 cm wide, 101 cm deep and 71 cm high, so the back stays low rather than rising to head height.

Is there a matching armchair?

Yes. The Ripley single-seater armchair shares the same channel-stitched faux leather, wave-profile seat and 71 cm height, at 115 cm wide with a 64 cm seat. It is sold separately.

Does the Ripley 3 Seater Sofa Black need assembly?

Only minimal assembly — the legs attach to the base.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and condition periodically; keep out of direct sunlight.

What is it best suited to?
