Description

Erina keeps to two shapes: a wide round top and a single pedestal beneath it. The top is 110 cm across, with a straight, square-cut edge 4.8 cm deep, and it sits 33 cm off the floor. The pedestal is a cone that widens as it meets the floor, and because there are no legs at the rim, the whole edge is free on every side. Top and pedestal are MDF in a natural oak-look finish, with the grain running across the top and vertically down the pedestal.

Is the Erina made of solid oak?

No. The top and the pedestal are MDF, finished in a natural oak-look woodgrain. Natural Oak names the colour and grain of the finish, not a solid timber build.

How thick is the tabletop?

The top measures 4.8 cm at its edge, which is straight and square-cut and shows that depth all the way round. On a 110 cm round top, the deep edge keeps the table from reading thin.

What kind of base does it have?

One central pedestal shaped as a cone, narrower where it meets the top and wider where it meets the floor. There are no legs at the rim, so nothing sits under the edge to catch shins or feet, and the table can be approached from any side.
