Description

The walnut finish gives Marty a warm, deep tone that suits darker floors and richer interiors. With no drawers underneath, it feels as much like a table as a desk, so it sits comfortably in a lounge corner as well as in a study, with space for a laptop, notes and a lamp.

No. Walnut is the colour of the finish. The top and pedestals are messmate veneer finished in a walnut tone, and the grain shows through.

How thick is the top?

5 cm, with softly rounded edges, which gives the top a substantial look from the side.

Is there any storage?

No. Marty has no drawers or shelves; it is an open desk standing on two pedestals.

What shape is the desktop?

A free-form kidney shape with a gently curved front edge, wider at one end than the other.

The widest carton's face is 92 cm but it is slim (12.5 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway.
