Description

Perch at the kitchen island on the Ormond, a pair of armless bar chairs in beige textured fabric. The foam-padded seat sits 65 cm up, a counter height for islands and benchtops, and a four-sided footrest joins the legs low down. A slim curved rail wraps behind each rounded backrest and carries on into the rear legs. The iron frame, footrest and tapered legs share a walnut-look heat-transfer print.

Is it counter height or bar height?

Counter height. The seat sits 65 cm off the floor and is 42 cm deep, which pairs it with kitchen islands and benchtops. It sits lower than a bar-height stool, so it is not the right match for a tall bar counter.

Are the legs solid timber?

No. The legs, footrest and frame are iron, finished with a heat-transfer print that gives them a walnut look. Walnut names the colour and grain of the finish, not the material. The legs taper from 32 mm at the top to 22 mm at the foot.

Does it have a footrest?

Yes. A four-sided footrest joins the four legs low down, in the same walnut-look finish as the frame. There is somewhere to rest your feet whichever way you sit.

How many bar chairs come in the set?

Two identical armless Ormond bar chairs. The same design also comes as a dining-height chair, sold as a set of four.

It is delivered part-assembled in a single carton measuring 62 × 62 × 37 cm (14.6 kg).
