FAQ

What are the dimensions of this bed?

It measures 160 cm wide, 205 cm deep and 120 cm tall to the top of the headboard. It fits a standard double mattress.

What is it made from?

The headboard is upholstered in 100% polyester fabric in light grey. The frame is Messmate, and it stands on solid Messmate timber legs.

Does it have built-in charging?

Yes. Each side rail has a wireless phone charger and a USB port, so there is one on each side of the bed.

Does it need a separate base or slats?

No separate base is needed. It has strong slats with a central support that hold the mattress directly.

How do I care for the upholstery?

Spot-clean the 100% polyester fabric with a soft cloth and a mild solution. Keep it out of direct sunlight to protect the colour.

Does the Skandinav Double Bed Frame Light Grey need assembly?

Yes, it is flat-packed for home assembly.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in 2 cartons (longest 193 cm): 124 × 152 × 12 cm (35.5 kg); 193 × 36 × 30 cm (37 kg). The widest carton's face is 124 cm but it is slim (12 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway, please confirm your access first. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.

What spaces is the Skandinav Double Bed Frame Light Grey best suited to?

It is well suited to contemporary and scandi-style bedrooms, households wanting bedside charging built in and master bedrooms taking a double mattress.
