FAQ

What size is the Skandinav bed and what are its dimensions?

It is a queen bed frame. The overall dimensions are 176 cm wide, 220 cm long, and 120 cm tall at the headboard.

What is it made from?

The headboard and frame are upholstered in 100% polyester fabric in light grey. The frame is messmate timber and the legs are solid messmate timber. It sits on strong slats with central support.

Does it have charging built in?

Yes. There is a wireless phone charger and a USB port in each side rail, so two wireless chargers and two USB ports in total.

Do I need a separate mattress base or slats?

No. The bed includes strong slats with a central support, so you only need to add a queen mattress.

How do I care for the upholstery?

Spot-clean the light grey polyester fabric and wipe the messmate timber legs with a soft dry cloth.

Does the Skandinav Queen Bed Frame Light Grey need assembly?

Yes, it is flat-packed for home assembly.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in 2 cartons (longest 207 cm): 124 × 168 × 12 cm (28 kg); 207 × 36 × 30 cm (41 kg). The widest carton's face is 124 cm but it is slim (12 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway, please confirm your access first. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.

What spaces is the Skandinav Queen Bed Frame Light Grey best suited to?

It is well suited to contemporary and scandinavian-style bedrooms, couples wanting bedside phone charging and master bedrooms pairing with natural timber bedroom furniture.
