Description

Sloane gives a dining room a rich, tailored piece to serve from. The dark, smoky Grey Oak stain lets the oak grain show through the fluting, and the gold-coloured pulls add a warm highlight. Plates, glasses and table linen each find a bay, and the top holds a lamp or platters.

FAQ

What is the Sloane buffet made of?

Oak veneer with a dark, smoky Grey Oak stain, so the grain stays visible. The pulls are brushed gold-coloured metal and the doors hang on concealed hinges.

How is the inside laid out?

As two cupboards, one behind each pair of doors. A fixed panel splits each cupboard into two bays, and each bay has one shelf: four bays and four shelves in all.

What colour is Grey Oak?

A dark, smoky grey-brown stain over oak veneer, with the oak grain showing through. It is not a light or natural oak tone.

What is the base like?

A low plinth set back under the cabinet, so the fluted body appears to float just above the floor.

Does the Sloane 180cm Buffet Table Storage Cabinet Grey Oak need assembly?

No — it arrives fully assembled.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits dining rooms needing closed storage, long walls in an open-plan living area and interiors pairing dark timber with warm metal. It is less suited to anyone wanting drawers for cutlery or rooms after a light natural oak look.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered fully assembled in a single carton measuring 186 × 53 × 83.5 cm (83 kg). The carton is bulky (widest face 83.5 cm), so check doorways, stairwells and lifts carefully, or contact us before ordering. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
