Description

Set a book and a lamp on the Cortez bedside table, a 50 cm white melamine cabinet with two drawers on black metal extension runners. The drawers share one gold-coloured metal handle: a half-moon on each front, meeting at the gap to form a full circle. A slim white metal frame lifts the cabinet and leaves open space below. The 16 mm top takes a phone and a glass of water.

FAQ

How do you open two drawers with one handle?

The handle is two gold-coloured metal half-moons, one on each drawer front. Closed, they meet at the gap between the drawers and read as one circle; each drawer opens by its own half.

Is the Cortez bedside table solid timber?

No. The cabinet is particleboard and MDF with a white melamine finish and a 16 mm top, on a white metal frame. The drawers run on black metal extension runners.

Is there space under the drawers?

Yes. The cabinet sits on an open white metal frame, so there is clear space between the drawers and the floor. It is a frame rather than a shelf, and it keeps the piece looking light beside the bed.

Does it match the Cortez tallboy?

Yes. The Cortez tallboy uses the same white melamine, white metal frame and gold-coloured half-moon handles, with four drawers at 100 cm tall.

Does the Cortez 2 Drawer Bedside Table White need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits modern bedrooms with a white scheme, compact spaces beside a bed and drawer storage for night-time essentials. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or anyone needing an open shelf.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 84 × 54 × 14 cm (17.2 kg). The carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
