Description

Tidy the season's layers into Cortez, a white melamine chest of four drawers that stands 100 cm tall on an 80 cm footprint. The drawers run on black metal extension runners, and the half-moon handles on each pair of drawers meet to form a gold-coloured circle. A slim white metal frame lifts the chest off the floor, and the 16 mm top holds a lamp and a tray.

FAQ

How do the drawers open?

Each drawer runs on black metal extension runners and carries its own gold-coloured half-moon handle. The halves on neighbouring drawers line up to form a circle, so you pull each drawer by its own half.

Is the Cortez tallboy solid timber?

No. It is particleboard and MDF with a white melamine finish and a 16 mm top, standing on a white metal frame. The handles are gold-coloured metal.

How much floor space does it take?

It measures 80 cm wide and 40 cm deep, and stands 100 cm high. The narrow footprint fits beside a door or a wardrobe, and the top sits at a height that suits a lamp or a jewellery tray.

Does it match the Cortez bedside table?

Yes. The Cortez bedside table shares the same white melamine, white metal frame and gold-coloured half-moon handles, with two drawers instead of four.

Does the Cortez 80cm Tallboy Chest of 4 Drawers White need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits bedrooms short on floor space, modern white bedroom schemes and storage for folded clothes. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or clothes that need hanging space.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 93 × 51 × 23 cm (42.4 kg). The carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
