FAQ

Is the 3-drawer chest solid oak?

No. The case is particleboard and MDF with an oak-look melamine finish. The drawer fronts are rattan cane in oak-look frames, and the base is a black metal frame.

What do the drawers run on?

Black metal runners. The drawer boxes are black inside, which contrasts with the oak-look and rattan fronts when a drawer is open.

How much floor space does it need?

A footprint of 80 cm wide by 40 cm deep, and it stands 90 cm high. Leave room in front for the drawers to pull out.

Does it match the other Debora bedroom pieces?

Yes. The bedside table, six-drawer chest and wardrobe share the same oak-look melamine, rattan cane fronts, slim black pulls and black metal frame.

Does the Debora 80cm Tallboy Chest of 3 Drawers Oak need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth. Brush or vacuum dust from the weave; wipe with a barely damp cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits narrow walls and bedroom corners, interiors with a Scandinavian or Japandi feel and storing folded clothing. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or clothes that need hanging space.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 101 × 51 × 20 cm (35.2 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
