Description

Pull up to the kitchen island on Emma, a pair of armless bar chairs covered in deep green textured fabric across the seat, the backrest and all four legs. The foam-padded seat sits 65 cm up, a counter height for islands and benchtops, and a four-sided black footrest joins the legs low down. The backrest is a wide curve with rounded, forward-reaching wings that narrows to a slim upholstered stem behind the seat, all on a plywood and iron frame.

FAQ

Is it counter height or bar height?

Counter height. The seat sits 65 cm off the floor and is 44 cm deep, which pairs it with kitchen islands and benchtops. It sits lower than a bar-height stool, so it is not the right match for a tall bar counter.

Does it have a footrest?

Yes. A four-sided black footrest joins the four legs low down, so there is somewhere to rest your feet whichever way you sit. It is finished in black against the green upholstery.

Are the legs covered in fabric too?

Yes. All four legs are wrapped in the same deep green textured fabric as the seat and backrest, with a small black cap at each foot. Under the fabric each leg is a 32 mm iron tube, part of the chair's plywood and iron frame.

How many bar chairs come in the set?

Two identical Emma bar chairs in green. The same design also comes as a dining-height chair, sold as a pair.

Does the Emma 2pc Set Bar Chair Barstool Green need assembly?

Some home assembly is required.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Vacuum the fabric gently with an upholstery attachment and spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid soaking.

What is it best suited to?

It suits kitchen islands or benchtops, casual breakfast seating and contemporary kitchens. It is less suited to tall bar-height counters, outdoor use or buyers wanting wipe-clean seats.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered part-assembled in a single carton measuring 81 × 57 × 50 cm (16.9 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
