Emma is a pair of armless dining chairs covered in a deep green textured fabric across the seat, the backrest and all four legs. The backrest is a wide curve whose rounded ends reach forward like wings, then narrows to a slim upholstered stem behind the seat, so the chair is finished from every side. Foam padding sits over a plywood and iron frame, and the seat is 47 cm high and 42.5 cm deep. Being armless, each chair pulls in close to the table between meals.

Are the legs covered in fabric too?

Yes. All four legs are wrapped in the same deep green textured fabric as the seat and backrest, so the chair reads as one upholstered form rather than a seat on separate legs. Under the fabric each leg is a 32 mm iron tube, and each ends in a small black cap at the floor.

How high and deep is the seat?

The seat is 47 cm off the floor and 42.5 cm deep, on a chair 76 cm high and 55 cm deep overall. It is padded with foam and upholstered in the same textured fabric as the backrest.

What shape is the backrest?

A wide, curved band whose rounded ends reach forward like wings, so the back curves around you rather than sitting flat. From behind it narrows to a slim upholstered stem that joins the seat, so the back of the chair is finished as fully as the front.

How many chairs come in the set?

Two identical Emma dining chairs in green. The same design also comes as a counter-height bar chair with a black footrest, sold as a pair.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Vacuum the fabric gently with an upholstery attachment and spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid soaking.

What is it best suited to?

It suits everyday family dining, contemporary dining rooms and eat-in kitchens. It is less suited to outdoor use, anyone wanting chairs with armrests or buyers wanting wipe-clean seats.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered part-assembled in a single carton measuring 58 × 58 × 51 cm (14.2 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access.
