Description

Made for the spot inside the front door, the Line bench cabinet is low, wide and shallow. Two doors on steel hinges, each with a small black knob, close over enclosed storage for shoes, bags and everyday odds and ends, and the 16 mm top at 53 cm high takes a key bowl or a plant. Its fronts carry fine horizontal grooves that read as black lines against the oak melamine, and slim black legs lift it off the floor. It pairs with the Line shoe cabinet and wall coat racks.

FAQ

What storage does the bench cabinet have?

Enclosed storage behind two doors that swing on steel hinges, each opened by a small black knob. There are no drawers.

Can I sit on the bench cabinet?

No seat rating or weight capacity is given for its 16 mm top, so treat it as a storage cabinet: use it for shoes, bags and a key bowl rather than as a seat.

Is it solid timber?

No. The cabinet is particleboard and the doors are MDF, both finished in an oak-look melamine. The legs and knobs are black and the hinges are steel.

Does it match the Line coat racks and shoe cabinet?

Yes. It shares the grooved oak finish and black details of the Line shoe cabinet and both Line wall coat racks, and they are photographed together in one entryway.

Does the Line 94cm 2 Door Bench Cabinet Oak and Black need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.

What is it best suited to?

It suits entryways or hallways, homes hiding shoes or bags by the door and mid-century rooms with black accents. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or anyone wanting drawers.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 106 × 50 × 13 cm (24.8 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
