4 cm deep overall, pegs included, so it sits close to the wall in a tight hallway or walkway where a deeper rack would be knocked.

How is it mounted?

It hangs on keyhole-slot hardware set into the back of the rail, which slips over screws in the wall. Use screws and wall plugs that match your wall type, and fix into a stud where you can.
