FAQ

How many people does the Vanessa 250cm table seat? +

Eight. The top is 250 cm long and 100 cm deep, with straight sides and fully rounded ends. The two round legs stand in from the ends, so the long sides have no legs to work around.

Is the Vanessa walnut table solid walnut? +

No. Walnut is the colour of the finish. The table is MDF with ash veneer in a walnut tone, and the open grain of the ash shows through it.

How thick is the tabletop? +

The top is 5 cm thick. Its edge is bevelled on the underside rather than cut square.

What kind of legs does it have? +

Two round legs, each wrapped in vertical fluting: flat slats with narrow grooves between them, running the full height. One stands in from each rounded end, in the same walnut finish as the top.

Does the Vanessa 250cm Oval Dining Table Walnut need assembly? +

Some home assembly is required.

How do I care for it? +

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.

What is it best suited to? +

It suits households that seat eight at dinner, open-plan dining rooms, schemes built on darker wood tones and fans of fluted detailing. It is less suited to compact dining nooks, buyers wanting an extendable table, buyers wanting solid timber or outdoor use.
