Description

Tidy the season's layers into Jinan, a 120 cm chest with six drawers set in two columns of three. Each drawer front carries a black edge pull along its top, and the two lowest have softly rounded outer corners. Black metal runners guide the drawers, which share the same oak-look finish inside. Tapered black legs, splayed at the ends, lift the chest clear of the floor.

FAQ

Is the Jinan chest solid oak?

No. The chest is particleboard and MDF with an oak-look melamine finish, inside the drawers as well as out, so the grain is a printed surface. The edge pulls are black metal.

How are the drawers laid out?

In two side-by-side columns of three, six in all. Each drawer has a black edge pull along its top edge, so the fronts stay flat and the pulls line up across the chest.

What do the drawers run on?

Black metal runners fitted at the sides of each drawer. You can see them when a drawer is pulled out, in the same black as the pulls.

How high is the top?

76 cm from the floor, with a 16 mm top across the full 120 cm width. That leaves a wide, waist-height surface for a lamp, a jewellery tray or folded clothes.

Does the Jinan 120cm Dresser Chest of 6 Drawers Oak need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits bedrooms needing wide drawer storage, couples wanting a column each and rooms with a mid-century or Scandinavian look. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or walls narrower than 120 cm.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 133 × 52 × 19 cm (49 kg). The carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
