Description

Set a book and a lamp on Jinan, a 40 cm square bedside table with two drawers stacked beneath its oak-look top. Black edge pulls run along the top of each drawer front, and the lower drawer's corners are softly rounded. Black metal runners carry both drawers, and four tapered black legs splay out from the corners, leaving the floor clear beneath.

FAQ

Is the Jinan bedside table solid oak?

No. It is particleboard and MDF with an oak-look melamine finish, drawers included, so the grain is a printed surface. The edge pulls are black metal.

Is it sold as a pair?

No, it is sold as a single table. Order two for a matching pair either side of the bed.

What fits in the drawers?

A book, glasses, chargers or medication. There are two drawers stacked under the top, each with a black edge pull and black metal runners; the internal sizes are not listed, so measure anything bulky first.

Will it sit level with my mattress?

The top is 50 cm from the floor. Compare that with the height of your mattress top: a bedside table close to it keeps a lamp and a glass of water within easy reach.

Does the Jinan 2 Drawer Bedside Table Oak need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits bedrooms with little space beside the bed, guest rooms or apartments and rooms with a mid-century or Scandinavian look. It is less suited to buyers wanting solid-timber construction or anyone wanting an open shelf as well.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in a single carton measuring 52 × 51 × 16 cm (14 kg). The carton's narrow face is under ~70 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point — doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners — against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
