Frame the screen with Jinan, a 160 cm oak-look cabinet raised on tapered black legs that splay out at each end. Its four doors work in pairs, and each pair shares black handles set on the edges where the doors meet, so the front reads as two matched halves. Steel hinges carry the doors, the outer lower corners are softly rounded, and the 16 mm top gives the TV a flat, even base.

Is the Jinan TV unit solid oak?

No. The cabinet is particleboard and MDF with an oak-look melamine finish, so the grain is a printed surface rather than solid timber. The handles are black metal, and the doors hang on steel hinges.

How do the cables reach the TV?

Through two rounded cut-outs in the back panel, one behind each pair of doors. Leads from a set-top box or console stored inside can run out the back and up to the screen instead of over the front edge.

Does it have open shelves?

No. All of the storage sits behind the four doors, where shelving divides each cupboard, so consoles, cables and remotes stay out of sight. A device worked by an infrared remote needs its door open while you use it.

What are the legs like?

Tapered and black. The outer legs splay outward at each end, and straight centre support carries the middle of the 160 cm span, lifting the cabinet clear of the floor.
