FAQ

What is inside the Hawea wardrobe?

A hanging rail runs across the top of the cupboard behind the door, with open hanging space below it down to the drawer. The drawer sits beneath the door and runs on metal extension runners.

Is the Hawea wardrobe solid timber?

No. It is particleboard and MDF with a white matt PU-painted finish and an 18 mm top. The door hangs on steel hinges and the legs are gold-coloured metal.

Will it fit a small bedroom?

At 60 cm wide it takes less wall than a typical two-door wardrobe, but it is 57 cm deep and 180 cm high, so allow clear floor in front for the door to swing open.

Is there a matching bedside table?

Yes. The Hawea 2-drawer bedside table shares the white matt finish, handle-free fronts and gold-coloured hairpin legs.

Does the Hawea 60cm 1 Door Wardrobe White need assembly?

Yes — it is flat-packed for home assembly.

How do I care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly; avoid harsh chemicals, prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth.

What is it best suited to?

It suits small bedrooms and guest rooms, apartments short on wardrobe space and white schemes with gold-coloured accents. It is less suited to households needing lots of shelving or buyers wanting solid-timber construction.

Will it fit through my doorway and stairwell on delivery?

It is delivered flat-packed in 2 cartons (longest 175 cm): 175 × 66 × 10 cm (44 kg); 88 × 65 × 10 cm (20.4 kg). Every carton's narrow face is under ~80 cm, so it should clear a typical internal doorway — please still confirm against your own access. Please measure your narrowest access point, doorway, stairwell turn, lift and tight corners, against these carton sizes before delivery. Unsure? Ask our assistant with your doorway width.
