Description

Marty works as well in a living space as in a dedicated study, because it reads more like a sculptural table than office furniture. The natural finish lets the messmate grain show, and the curved front edge leaves room to spread out papers beside a laptop or monitor.

Messmate veneer in a natural finish, on both the top and the two pedestals. The finish lets the grain of the messmate show through.

How thick is the desktop?

5 cm. Combined with the softly rounded edge, that thickness gives the top a substantial look from the side.

Does the Marty desk have drawers?

No. Marty is an open desk with no drawers or shelves, so the space under the top stays clear between the two pedestals.

What shape is the top?

A free-form kidney shape, wider at one end, with a gently curved front edge and softly rounded corners.

It is delivered part-assembled in 3 cartons (longest 175 cm): 175 × 92 × 12.5 cm (44 kg); 50 × 50 × 73.5 cm (23 kg); 36 × 36 × 72 cm (15 kg). The widest carton's face is 92 cm but it is slim (12.5 cm thick), so it can usually be angled through a standard doorway.
